Tazewell County Clerk’s Office Employees Donate $1,508 for Kids Muddy Madness — County Clerk & Recorder Of Deeds Employees Have Raised $10,608 Since 2019 For Annual St. Jude Fundraiser

The Tazewell County Clerk & Recorder of Deeds Employees participated in the 2024 Kids Muddy Madness for St Jude. Tazewell County Clerk John C. Ackerman was a sponsor of the event once again this year and the employees gathered this year a total donation of $1,508. Since 2019, the employees have gathered a total donation of $10,608 for this worthy community fundraiser.

Open to children between the ages of 2-17, the mile long muddy obstacle course is organized by the Morton to Peoria St. Jude Satellite Run. 100% of the money raised goes to the St. Jude Research Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee. While the total donation gathered for this 2024 Kids Muddy Madness is not available yet, since organizing this community event in 2012 they report to have collected over $850,000.

The Tazewell County Clerk & Recorder of Deeds employees have participated since 2019 by supporting "Team Tazewell County Clerk" featuring the children of friends and family. John C. Ackerman himself sponsors the event each year as well. The funds gathered are individual donations and no taxpayer revenue has been utilized for this office activity.
