Pekin Rotary Supports Rotary Foundation’s Clean Water Efforts

World Water Day was observed on March 22nd, and Rotary International marked the occasion with a powerful reminder:
“Water is something we all need to survive. But 2.2 billion people still live without safely managed drinking water. That’s more than one in every four people facing this challenge every day.
Rotary members are working tirelessly to change this. Through projects that provide sustainable, clean water, sanitation, and hygiene, we’re helping communities thrive and build healthier futures.
This life-changing work is made possible by generous supporters. By making a gift to the Rotary Foundation, you fuel these efforts, providing resources for Rotary members to implement projects that transform societies.”
Rotary International has long been dedicated to providing clean water, sanitation, and hygiene around the world. The impact of these efforts is far-reaching — improving health, saving mothers and children, supporting education, growing local economies, and protecting the environment.
As one of 46,000 Rotary clubs worldwide, Pekin Rotary is proud to support this vital mission. In recognition of World Water Day and the ongoing need for access to clean water, Pekin Rotary has made a donation to the Rotary Foundation to help fund these life-saving projects. This contribution reflects our club’s commitment to making a meaningful difference, not just in our own community but across the globe.
Clean water is essential to life, and through Rotary’s collective efforts, we are helping to create a healthier and more sustainable future for all.
