The Pekin Farmers Market Committee is now accepting vendor applications for the 6th Annual Pekin Farmers Market, set to begin Thursday, June 4, 2026.

Held at the Pekin Park District Miller Center parking lot, located at 551 South 14th Street in Pekin, the market offers a welcoming and scenic location overlooking the Mineral Springs Park Pavilion and Lagoon. Organizers are inviting growers, bakers, artisans, and producers to join this growing community event that connects local vendors directly with residents.

The Pekin Farmers Market is a “producers only” market, meaning all items sold must be made, grown, or created by the vendor. This ensures customers have access to fresh, locally sourced produce and unique handmade goods while supporting small businesses and local agriculture.

Market hours will be Thursdays from 3:30pm to 6:30pm, running June 4 through August 27, with an additional fall market scheduled for October 15. Vendors will have the opportunity to showcase their products throughout the summer season and build lasting relationships with returning customers.

New for the 2026 season, the market will feature Young Entrepreneur Days on the third Thursday of each month. Youth ages 17 and younger will be invited to participate with items they have made, grown, or created. Organizers hope this addition will encourage entrepreneurship among young people while bringing more families and community members to the market.
