The Rotary Club of Pekin is now accepting applications for its annual community grant program. Not-for-profit organizations that serve the Pekin area are encouraged to apply for grants of up to $1,000 to support projects that benefit the local community. Applications will be accepted through December 1, 2024, with decisions announced by December 15, 2024.

Each year, the Pekin Rotary Club distributes profits earned from its Rotary Grill at the Pekin Marigold Festival to fund these grants. These funds are specifically aimed at supporting initiatives that may not otherwise be possible without Rotary’s assistance.

“Our hope is that we can be a sole or major funding source for projects that would not likely happen without Rotary’s support,” says Rotary Club President Drew Eilts. “For larger Capital Campaigns, other Rotary options are considered.”
