Tazewell County will mark the 75th Anniversary of the Korean War with a Remembrance Service at the Tazewell County Courthouse on June 25th at 3pm.

This Remembrance Service will feature the remaining Korean War Veterans from Tazewell County, placement of a wreath at the Korean War Memorial outside the Courthouse, and a moment of silence at the Veterans Memorial for those who died in service during the Korean War. The veterans will be welcomed to share their experiences with the public. The veterans will also be invited to attend the Tazewell County Board Meeting at 6pm that evening and be recognized at the beginning of the meeting.

We invite all Tazewell County Korean War Veterans to join us for this historic gathering. The public is encouraged to attend, learn about the contributions of Tazewell County Veterans, and recognize and honor their service to our nation.
