The Pekin Hometown Voice

Kidney Donation Needed

My name is Brad Marshall, and I am a lifelong Pekin resident. I was a teacher at Faith Baptist School for many years, and worked at Pekin Park for several summers. Many people remember me as a bass singer in the Pekin Civic Chorus. Currently, I work at Pekin Estates at the front desk.

I have end-stage renal disease and have been on kidney dialysis for over a year and a half. While thanking God for this life-saving treatment, it is nonetheless a daunting process.

I am reaching out to the Pekin area community and humbly asking someone to be a kidney donor for me. My quality of life would be greatly enhanced by this transplant. The wait for a deceased donor is 4-6 years.

If interested in being my kidney donor, please contact the OSF kidney transplant team at 309-655-4101 or osfhealthcare.donorscreen.org. Thanks, and God bless.
