Fogelberg Foundation of Peoria, in partnership with the Pekin Park Concert Band, is pleased to announce a very special upcoming event to honor the late Lawrence Fogelberg, forever eulogized by his son, Dan, in the musical tribute entitled, “Leader of the Band.”  Please mark your calendars for Sunday, July 27th and make plans to attend the 6:30pm performance of the Pekin Park Concert Band at the newly constructed Steven D. Skinner Performing Arts Venue located in Mineral Springs Park, Pekin, IL. Lawrence Fogelberg was Director of the Pekin Municipal Band, now known as the Pekin Park Concert Band, for many years, and we are thrilled to help bring this event to their 98th Summer Concert Series in his honor.  Complete details for the event will be announced next month, and we hope to see you there!
