Since the last issue, we have had a few great public events, including our May Murder-Mystery Dinner & the St. Joseph’s Church Spring Festival Fundraiser.

The Murder-Mystery Dinner was titled “Mother Dearest” and had a Mother of the Year theme. One of the reviews from a first time attendee: “This was better than expected. It wasn’t the typical Avanti’s food at all!” That menu: Seasoned Chicken Breast w/smoked provolone & French Onion gravy, garlic parmesan mashed potatoes, seasoned green beans, and of course salad, bread, and cupcakes.

The St. Joseph’s Church Spring Festival was a hit with a euchre tournament, silent auction, and of course, dinner. The review from Lisa, one of the organizers: “Your staff was excellent to work with and bent over backwards to accommodate us! Everyone was so kind and I would highly recommend your event space! Thank you for all you did to help us make the event a success.”   We definitely look forward to working with St. Joseph’s again as well as other fundraisers you may need!

Alright, on to upcoming events… it’s a BUSY July for public events. 

We have our next Sports Card n’ Collectors Show on Saturday, July 12th from 10am – 3pm. 50+ tables of collectible treasurers, inside and outside weather permitting. 

Saturday, July 19th is our next Murder-Mystery Dinner titled: ‘Not More “Happy Days” @ the Neighborhood BBQ’. Think 1950s/Happy Days style “cookout”.
