Tazewell County Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 8th Street, Pekin, is a Wreaths Across America location. Each year, volunteers place approximately 585 wreaths on the graves of veterans. This year’s wreath placement date is December 19, 2026. The cost of these wreaths is $17 each and are sponsored by area businesses and individuals. 

The opportunity to sponsor wreaths for 2026 is now open and are being accepted. You may sponsor one or more wreaths or make a general donation to the purchase of wreaths. Checks should be made payable to Wreaths Across America and sent to Debby Dant, Location Coordinator, 418 Joliet Road, Marquette Heights, IL, 61554.
