On Tuesday, May 14 Pekin Rotary held its annual Scholastic Awards Night.  Held in Pekin High’s F.M. Peterson Theater, Rotary recognized the Top 10% scholastically performing 8th Grade students from Pekin District 108 and all of its feeder schools.  Schools included were Broadmoor, Edison, Georgetowne, Good Shepherd,  Rankin, South Pekin, and St. Joseph.

The club also gave its “Service Above Self Awards“ to 6 area students who were willing to volunteer their time and energy to the benefit of others.

After the event, refreshments were served courtesy of PCHS Culinary Arts.
