It is our great pleasure to welcome Mr. Jack Herbert as he joins the team at FBCS as the next administrator. Mr. Herbert has years of experience in Christian School education and administration having worked in two different Christian schools over 47 years of ministry. For most of that time, he has been the principal of Abilene Baptist Academy in Abilene, Kansas and has recently been the president of the Kansas Association of Christian Schools. 

Mr. Herbert is a graduate of Maranatha Baptist Bible College with a bachelor’s degree in secondary education and a master’s degree in education and administration. His greatest goal above merely educating students is to influence young people to serve the Lord with their lives. As such, he looks to push his students towards excellence in every area, whether it is academics, fine arts, or athletics. 

After teaching for a few years in Colorado, Jack moved with his wife, Paula, and daughter to Abilene, Kansas. The Herberts were also blessed with two more daughters and a son. While his children are now grown and actively serving the Lord, Jack's passion for Christian education has not waned.

Mr. Herbert brings an incredible wealth of experience in education and administration. He will be a huge blessing to our families, students, and faculty. We are excited that God has directed his steps this way.
