The Pekin Woman’s Club held its September meeting on Friday, September 12, at the First Methodist Church in Pekin. The program was given by Katrina Sotomayer, a museum docent from the Daughters of the American Revolution, entitled “Fashioning the American Woman,” using a slide presentation showing and explaining women’s fashions from 1890 – 1925. New member Brenda Peacock was welcomed.

The next meeting will be held on Friday, October 10, at the First Methodist Church beginning at 12 noon. The program will be presented by Mike Brenkman, a volunteer with the Greater Peoria Honor Flight. Interested women from Pekin and the surrounding areas are invited to attend the meeting.
