Faith Music Academy Offers Early Childhood Music and Movement Classes
The Faith Music Academy is a new initiative at Faith Baptist Christian School. Included with this launch is another session of its new Early Childhood Music and Movement classes, set to begin on February 2, 2026. The program is designed to introduce young children to the joy of music while building foundational musical skills in a fun, engaging environment.
The classes are tailored for two age groups: infants to 3-year-olds and 3- to 5-year-olds. Through age-appropriate activities, children and their caregivers will explore rhythm, melody, movement, and musical expression.
Dylan Keener, Director of Early Childhood Music & Movement at the academy, leads the program with experienced instructors who desire to nurture young learners and foster a lifelong love of music.
The new semester’s classes are part of the academy’s broader mission to enhance music education for students of all ages and support future musical endeavors and ministry. In addition to early childhood offerings, the academy also provides private music lessons in piano and various instruments for older students.
Registration information and class details are available on the academy’s website. Families interested in enrolling their children or learning more about the curriculum are encouraged to contact the program directors for assistance and to ensure availability. Information can be found at www.faithchristianofpekin.org/fma.
Pastor Chip Herbert said concerning the program, “It is our desire to help our children to develop a love for all that is good and beautiful, and we believe these classes can be a help to the Pekin community.”
This initiative marks an exciting opportunity for families in the Pekin area to engage their youngest children in meaningful early childhood music education beginning in February 2026.
