The Pekin Woman's Club is on their winter hiatus, however, that does not mean they are not working behind the scenes.

Each year, they award a $500 scholarship for a Pekin Community High School senior girl. The application for this scholarship is now available on the PCHS website under the Scholarship tab. Deadline for submission is March 25, 2026. We look forward to receiving the applications and selecting the winner.

The PWC fundraising luncheon will be held on Saturday, August 8, 2026 at the First Methodist Church. Plans for this luncheon are beginning and it looks to be as much fun as ever. This luncheon is the main fundraiser for the Pekin Woman's Club. All money received goes back into the community in the form of donations to various organizations. Along with the scholarship, donations are made to TAPS, the Miller Center, the Veterans Assistance Commission Food Pantry, the Salvation Army, the Boys and Girls Club, the YWCA Literacy Program, the Tazewell County Museum, the Pekin Public Library, and others as the needs arise. Please mark your calendars and join us for a nice lunch, a fun program, all the while supporting Pekin Woman's Club and the other organizations.
