The celebration will feature family-friendly activities, live entertainment, and opportunities to honor the freedoms and values that unite Americans. Community members are encouraged to gather at the Pekin Memorial Stadium with gates opening at 6 pm, to enjoy the festivities and celebrate America’s 250th anniversary spirit alongside fellow residents and visitors. The traditional fireworks show will begin shortly after sunset.

Chamber officials say the event continues a long-standing tradition of bringing the community together while recognizing local veterans, first responders, and the many individuals who make the Pekin area a great place to live and work. “The Honor America Celebration is an opportunity for our community to come together in appreciation of our country, our freedoms, and the people who serve others every day,” organizers said. “We look forward to welcoming families from throughout the region for a memorable Fourth of July celebration.”
