CRC Music Event in August Brings Community Together for a Great Cause
If you love live rock and country music, TCRC is hosting its first “Amplify the Mission” show on Sunday, August 9th, from 1-5 p.m. at OZ’Z Bar & Grill in Creve Coeur.
Proceeds from the event directly benefit the TCRC mission of supporting a life of choice for people with developmental disabilities, TCRC’s programs and services provide a path for area people with disabilities to experience more choice, independence and dignity.
Across TCRC’s 25 programs, they provide opportunities like job training and placement, goal-oriented therapy, life skills training, and behavioral health counseling — to name a few. The two Community Day Services centers offer a school-like setting with recreational options to explore interests and hobbies.
Four popular local bands have donated their time and talents to entertain you at the “Amplify” show. Rising country star Taylor Bruninga & The Bandits, Blues rockers Ray Long and Highway 61, upbeat rockers Super 88, and Capt. Quirk, which is transitioning to yacht rock, will perform.
Tickets are $10 at the door, rain or shine. We’ll have food & drinks, plus unique raffle items to try to win. For more information, go online to tcrcorg.com.
